I haven't had a chance to use my cantilever umbrella yet as the weather has not been good enough. It will stay in its wrapping until next year now. I purchased this style as I have limited space in my garden. I think it will be fine when it's up and running and serve the purpose it was intended for. Black may seem a dreary colour but I hope it won't show the marks too much. Also, my furniture suite is black so I was not certain a cream one would have looked as good.
