Product Description
Our Prince Parasol is part of our new garden range for 2013. With its extra large multi-positional 300cm canopy it offers superior shade protection compared to the traditional fixed umbrella. The Prince is simple to operate with its smooth lever system and by placing centrally on your patio or deck you can follow the sun's movement throughout the day by rotating the canopy to provide the exact shade for your requirements.
The base of the Prince is strengthened with the addition of four 45cm square slabs (not included). These can be widely purchased from garden centres and builders merchants in a colour to suit your individual patio.
The Prince parasol folds neatly for storage when not required. Canopy is 300cm in diameter and is UV and fade resistant.
Simple to operate crank mechanism.
Charcoal aluminium frame provides a contemporary feel to take your garden in a new direction. Create a new alfresco feel - shown with our Madrid Rattan garden dining set available separately.
Safety: All garden parasols, regardless of size should be stored lowered when not required and should not be used unsupervised or in windy conditions.
Parasols are suitable for all year round garden use but should be stored unopened when not supervised.

well, first impressions were simply, impressive!! until not long after receiving the canopy we had a bit of windy weather nothing that bad really, although obviously bad enough to damage the plastic yes plastic oval cover that locks the cantelever in place. This is certainly not strong enough to do the job (it has split up the side), I can't see it lasting very long. reason i've not complained until now is amazon asked me to rate this product and i've had it locked away in the shed for the few weeks now because of the bad weather. any spare plastic covers??? that would give it 5 stars.

The price stated here before discount is £395.00, however the actual Okita website is selling this pre sale price for £270, that's full price, and currently at £145.00. It did go together very easily, but as other review have noted the. Plastic securing lever..... Will it last? Also, will double check, but hadn't read that you needed to secure the base with 4 concrete slabs to stop it tipping over when open.

Item was delivered very swiftly indeed and have to say the service from this company was more than excellent especially from Ian.Product is easily erected and looks good when up. I do take the point that the sliding plastic unit may be a little weak but as with most things just be a little careful and I think it will be fine, any doubt then buy matching colour duck tape and bind it . No one will ever know.I had an issue with me being available to accept delivery so I contacted the company, nothing was too much trouble for them and my problem was solved immediately. Also I mentioned that I was buying another parasol as I had had the base for the one I own stolen so a replacement was required. This company offered to send me another base. At the very least this is great customer service.I am more than prepared to recommend this company to anyone and HEY I have no connection with them.Addendum .. The base has arrived thank you for your efforts guys I really appreciate it.This is a good company I think...
