I know I should have not expected much from an LED flood light given the current standard of LED's but do not buy this if you think it will illuminate much at all, let alone flood anything with light. One small pool of light is all it does, I will soon take it down and replace with a "proper" flood light

Good Points - Fast Delivery - Lights as area up to about 600 sq feet reasonably approx same light as a 50watt halogen.Bad Points - 1. Soft screw heads holding lid of electrical connection box, when trying to unscrew knurled over, had to drill one out to release lid, replaced them all. 2. Installation instructions state should only be used horizontally or pointing upwards, (mounting bracket only allows this), otherwise will overheat the electronics. All lights of this type I install usually point downwards floodlighting an area. 3. Pir Sensor even on full sensitivity only detects person up to about 15 feet away.

On purchasing the low wattage LED 'flood light' we were impresssed with the size and quality of our purchase, just not the power!I understand the output is only that of 3watts of power and is more energy efficient but just not good enough.If covering a large area then not for you. Go with a more powerful method!Thanx.
